Early exploration of natural dyeing. Showcasing the possibilities of working with waste materials. Creating cohesion through colour. Development through extensive testing of natural dye techniques.Adoption of a scientific approach in my exploration of avocado seeds, onion skins, used tea leaves and used coffee grounds. Observation of how colours changed with changes in fibre, weave, weight, exposure to sunlight, dye duration and ph levels. A discovery of the endless number of colours that could be achieved.
